Grocery Personal Shopping and Delivery App HappyFresh launches in Thailand

Bangkok, 30 September 2015: HappyFresh, Southeast Asia’s leading online grocery company, announces the official opening of its activities in Thailand. At a launch event in Bangkok, Siripa Jungsawat, Managing Director of HappyFresh Thailand, and Markus Bihler, Group CEO and Co-Founder of HappyFresh, presented the company’s offering.

“We are proud to bring our service to Bangkok,” said Bihler. “The consumers can order fresh groceries from a number of leading retailers, directly via our app or website, and receive their order in as little as one hour, freeing them up to spend their time where it matters most – with their families.”

HappyFresh is headquartered in Jakarta and started operating in Malaysia and Indonesia in March 2015, before deciding to launch in Thailand and later this year in Taiwan, making the firm the clear market leader across Southeast Asia.

HappyFresh Thailand is available in large parts of Bangkok and Nonthaburi, and will expand across all of Bangkok very soon.
